Our pasture raised turkeys spend the first few weeks in the brooder on our farm until they are hardy enough to handle life on pasture. They will be raised to 16-20 weeks of age and spend 100% of their lives on pasture. Turkeys are voracious foragers and can consume a substantial amount of forage, bugs, and seeds off the land while aiding us in improving the quality of our soil through nutrient rich manure. Turkeys are omnivores and need a higher octane feed source for proper health and nutrition. We choose to supplement our turkeys with a chemical-free (certified organic), soy-free feed.
